Little Miss Crazy

Lizzy is tearing my house to pieces! She is now crawling and getting into everything. I love that she is crawling but now she requires a lot more of my attention. She loves anything that looks dangerous to play with. She has pulled my fake pine trees down on her more than once and likes to "play" with our cat Tiger, who is not the softest with her. She loves to stand next to anything she can pull herself up too and has now figured out how to climb our stairs. oh boy. She can spot a dangerous choking hazard a mile away and races to it before i do. If she isn't chewing on the cell phone charger cord then she is chewing on the darn cats tail. gross. She is also teething so do not put your finger near her mouth. She is like a ferocious beaver. Her hair is getting insanely long and I have no idea how to style it so she is my little pony tail girl. She eats anything she can except peaches. When I am not sharing she is quick to let me know about it. She squeals louder than a piggy. I love her so much. She is crazy and sassy and silly all rolled into one.

San Francisco

Have I ever mentioned how lucky we are to have Zach work for American Family Insurance? Well, we are very thankful. Every year they send us on a full expense paid vacation for a few days, if the agent qualifies. This year they sent us to San Francisco, CA. Now we had never been there before so we were not sure what to expect, and to make it more interesting we decided to drive down earlier with all three kids. 14 hours of craziness. What the heck were we thinking? LOl! We decided to break up the driving and stayed in Reno, NV for the first 2 days. Then drove the rest to California. Okay, first off, I will never live in a big city. No thank you! It was crazy. A million cars and people everywhere. Tall tall buildings and garbage. The air was musky and cold. Not what i was expecting. So what to do in a city filled with homeless people on every corner, and crazy drivers who don't care if your in the cross walk, or not, venture out of the city!!! We took a bus down to a place called The Fisherman's Wharf and walked to an awesome aquarium, and also went to see where Alcatraz Prison was located. It was pretty neat. The kids loved every bit of it, which really thats the only thing I cared about. The next day we drove an hour south to a little beach called Half Moon beach. It wasn't exactly the warmest day, but we thankfully were able to enjoy a few hours of sunshine. After that we drove to the Muir Woods. Basically it was a forest filled with the giant redwood trees and lots of trails to walk on through the woods. My kids were in heaven. it was amazing. That was our favorite part of the trip. I am so thankful that my little family has had the opportunities to go on trips, besides our camping trips. I am so lucky to have a husband who works his tail off to make sure he qualifies for the yearly trips. Next year it is in Anaheim CA. Im crossing my fingers we make that one too.
