Kaidynce had her tonsils and adenoids taken out and tubes put in her ears yesterday, and lets just say she has not been a happy camper. She has been extremely miserable. She has been getting horrible ear aches and infections for quite some time and finally we took her to a specialist, Dr. McMaster and he suggested we do the procedure. It was a no brainer for us. Her surgery went really good. Both of her ears were infected again, and her adenoids were blocking 80% of her nasal passages. wow. Poor kid. No wonder she couldn't have a peaceful night, in what seems like forever. So now we are on the road to recovery and so far it isn't a pretty one. Her pain meds make her cranky and confused. She is kind of a little beast right now, but hopefully soon she will feel better. Its hard to see your kids go through things like this . I do know that it will be worth it in the long run. She is one tough little cookie who will hopefully be able to go outside without wearing a stocking hat every time. Lets hope so!

Poor little thing, and poor momma! I'm glad the surgery went well but good luck with the recovery! I'd love to have Karter come over to play (Parker keeps saying, "That kid was awesome.") and Lizzy if you'd let me so you and Kaidance could take a nap! (Or you could nap and she could watch cartoons...)
That doesn't sound like any fun. Sometimes it is just as hard on the mom as it is on the kids! Good luck!
I hope her recovery is fast and I'm sure she will feel so much better. Camri, Lindsay's little girl is having her tonsils and adenoids out on Thursday. It's a good thing that they are little and do so much better than adults.
Been there, done that, not fun but life is Oh so much better afterward. You are a good mama
