And the TREE is the WINNER!!

Karter went sledding at Grandma Cynthia's and smacked right into a tree. He's not a very good driver!! The branch got him right in the eye. Lucky it didn't hurt him bad, just a nice little gash. The swelling has gone down a lot! He is such a boy! It definately didn't slow him down any! He had a lot of fun at Grandma's house!! Everyone who has boys understand how crazy they are, and loads of fun!!!

Picture Day

Today I have been struggling with boredom. I'm tired of the same stuff that a stay at home mom does everyday. You all know what I'm talking about. The never ending laundry, dishes three or more times a day, and the bathrooms that just never stay clean. So, instead of just sucking it up and getting my mommy chores done, I decided to take some pictures of Kaidynce. It only took up a few minutes of my day, but sometimes a few minutes of something different, helps me get motivated again. I love taking pictures of my kids. It is a hobby that never gets old.

Finaly Enough!!!

It's about time! Kaidynce is 9 months old and she finally has enough hair for PIG TAILS!! Woo Hoo!! I have been so excited to do her hair, but it has been a long journey to get here! My beautiful baby is bald no more. She has a long way to go before braids, but piggy tails work great for now!!

BUGGED!!

So here's the deal, I've been tagged to name some things peolple do that bug me. I didn't realize I had so many. So please don't get affended, this is just how I feel about things.

It bugs me when.......

1. People call me at the crack of dawn, and it's for nothing important!!
2. I get fast food and recieve one ketchup packet for all my fries!!
3. I thought something was on sale, but it was just put back on the wrong rack!
4. I can hear someone chewing their gum or food with their mouth wide open! Who wants to see chewed up food. Not me.
5. I pay up to $25 for baby formula. I think feeding our babies should not cost that much!!
6. women have to go to the gyno once a year for a checkup but men don't have to have a checkup until they get old!! How unfair is that ladies!!! And who wants to get their goods squished, not me!!
7. You watch a movie preview and they show all the funny parts, and the movie end up being dumb. Why not leave a suprise in the movie???
8. I go to use a public restroom and in one stall there is pee on the toilet and in the other stall there are floaties! So which one do you choose?? How hard is it to flush and wipe up your dribbles? GROSS!!!!
9. You are at the checkout line and the kids are having a crying session, and you get that LOOK from complete strangers!! What do you want me to do about my crying kids people? Sometimes they just have to cry!!!
10. When people assume things without knowing the facts and before you know it you are hearing things that are so not true!!

Karter's First Snowman

We have waited and waited for the perfect day to build a snowman and today was the day! It was so warm outside and no wind at all, just how we like it. Karter has never built a snowman so we decided to have an adventure today. It's nothing much but to him it is pretty cool!! Have a happy NEW YEAR everyone!!!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!!

Well we had a yummy thanksgiving! It was really perfect, right down to the weather. I wanted to share our family tradition with everyone because it is the main reason I look forward to this day. After we all stuff our faces with delicous food, we all get in our vehicles and head to the mountains to cut down our christmas tree. It is so much fun! We all wander around the woods, even the kids, until we find that perfect tree, because a fake one just doesn't cut it in our house! We enjoy the smell of fresh pine trees! An artificial tree just isn't the same for me. Every year our tree is different, and it makes it so fun to see what we come up with, and yes we have had many charlie brown trees. As soon as we decorate it though, it is beautiful and unique in its own way!! We had a lot of fun finding our tree. Karter loved helping Zach cut it down and he picked out one for his bedroom too! He was pretty excited! I love getting together with my whole family and being outdoors. That is what we all love to do the most. It turned out to be a great day.
